International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations
FIATA is the largest non-governmental organization in the field of transportation. Its influence is worldwide. It represents today an industry covering approximately 40,000 forwarding and logistics firms, also known as the "Architects of Transport", employing around 8 - 10 million people in 150 countries.

PIFFA is a non-profitable organization representing more than 400 companies based in Pakistan providing Land, Air, Ocean Combined Transport and other Logistics services. PIFFA established in 2005
Current News in freight forwarding industries
As per PIFFA’s circular No.2 (41) icm2005, the meeting was held at custom house Karachi to discuss the issue of licensing the freight forwarders under customs ACT.1996 (Oct 28). The officials came to the conclusion that the licenses are now not required and those who has taken the licenses can take the refund of their deposits.
I don’t have much news in hands and you can find them from the internet but if that is really important then I will do some thing to collect the news.
